SGWave is a new product development project based upon a novel, non-contact measurement technique known as wavefront sensing. Scalar technologies has been carrying out fundamental research to examine the technical capabilities and limits of the technology and examining where this exciting new technique can best be applied. SGWave can, and will be, used to address new and current applications which cannot be met with our existing white light interferometery technology.
Scalar is currently reviewing several application areas of interest and initial investigations give clear grounds for optimism that SGWave will open up new market opportunities for the company in the near future.
