New Branding Identity for Scalar Technologies

Scalar Technologies is pleased to reveal a new brand identity for its range of white light, thin film, interferometry thickness measurement tools. The company has spent most of the last year refining and modernising the technical abilities of its core products which has resulted in the specification of a new and exciting product range.

Basic off the shelf thickness measurement tools are now available under the name - ^SGCertus. The ^SGCertus range is designed to offer thickness measurement capabilities from around 0.5microns to 100microns. A range of product options based on CCD and photodiode array spectromoters will allow our customers to choose an off the shelf option for almost any thin film measurement application.

For in line thickness measurement, the company can offer ^SGCertus^IL, a production orientated version of the core ^SGCertus product which replaces the older ScalarGauge I and ScalarGauge I-50 products. The ^SGCertus^IL is housed in a single 3U high 19inch rack box, making the product smaller, lighter and more portable than the ScalarGauge I or I-50 products.

The application of our core technology to demanding custom orientated applications is best illustrated by the ^SGS-Can product which we have specifically developed to advance testing capabilities in the canning industry. This exciting product gives can makers prevoiusly unavailable capabilities in measurement and process control. ^SGS-Can like our ^SGCertus range sets an excellent standard in product performance.
