Scalar Technologies Ltd, a leading developer and manufacturer of non-contact, thin film thickness measurement instrumentation and systems is pleased to introduce to the vacuum monitoring market ^SGVacuus, the newest addition to the Scalar family of products. ^SGVacuus is an in situ broadband optical monitoring system that provides excellent measurement and control capabilities for single and multilayer vacuum deposited coating applications.

In the prestigious environment of the SVC conference and exhibition, ^SGVacuus was introduced to and well received by a wide selection of industry professionals, from across the vacuum coatings industry. In addition to its exhibition debut, the ^SGVacuus product was also the subject of a dedicated briefing paper which was presented as part of the conference proceedings.

Scalar Technologies is now embarking on a series of final customer tests and software refinements ahead of full end user acceptance tests.
